Ukrainian officials report a “cut off of all communications” in the Russian-occupied southern region of Kherson.
In a statement, Ukraine’s State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection said an unspecified intrusion “by the occupation regime” had taken place and that the equipment had been turned off and the disconnected cables.
“Residents of the region are currently deprived of Ukrainian mobile communication and Internet access, and have no way to make national and international phone calls using landline telephones,” the agency said. .
