May has been a hell of a month, so let’s try to end it on a bit of a positive note with the latest game of Quordle. The words you’re looking for may not be apparent right away, so I’m here to help you continue your streak with some clues and answers.
If you’re a newcomer, here’s how to play Quordle: You have four five-letter words to guess and nine attempts to find them all. The catch is that you play all four words simultaneously.
If you get a letter in the right place for one of the four words, it will light up green. If a word contains a certain letter but it is not in the correct place, it will appear in yellow. After using a letter in a guess, you will also see on the keyboard if it is in one of the words.

Midge isn’t a word I’ve really heard since I moved to Canada over a decade ago, but as a Scot these tiny insects were like a plague. A nice selection of words, though, with just enough running letters to maybe unlock an idea or two for you.
