The Packers added veteran Travis Fulgham to their practice squad on Thursday and their need for healthy bodies at the position was likely behind the lake.
Four of the receivers were out of training on Thursday. The group included Allen Lazard, who went from limited with an ankle injury to the team’s second session of the week on Wednesday.
Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson were also demoted on Wednesday after limited practice. Both players have hamstring injuries.
Randall Cobb was the other receiver to drop out of practice. He missed his second consecutive day with an illness.
Kicker Mason Crosby was also ill while tight end Marcedes Lewis was out with a groin injury.
Defensive tackle Kenny Clark (groin) was added to the report as a limited entry and tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) went from training to limited entry.
