Malaysia could review its palm kernel meal exports

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s commodity ministry said on Tuesday authorities would discuss a possible review of the country’s export policy on palm kernel cake, which can be used as animal feed.

The ministry “will have discussions with other stakeholders to review our palm kernel meal export policy in favor of local broilers. Currently, a large part of our palm kernel meal is exported for the European beef industry” , he said in a statement.
