Defiant Christian Wilkins says ‘masculinity is ending’ as he hits out at Twitter troll who said his Logies dress was ‘not normal’

Socialite and reality TV star Christian Wilkins has hit back at a Twitter troll who slammed him for wearing a dress to the Logie Awards on Sunday night.

Anonymous user @SaraVic333 tweeted “it’s not normal” for men to wear women’s clothing on Tuesday, before adding, “STOP normalizing these bulls**t!!!”

Christian, 26, responded to the criticism on Wednesday by poking fun at how some people react hysterically to men who like to wear dresses.

‘What in the world is going on!!!! Masculinity ends!!! Burn it all!!’ he tweeted with enthusiastic support from his Twitter followers.

The Twitter user who slammed Christian also seems to have some pretty strong views on Covid vaccines and ‘free speech’.

Their bio states, “You can try to shut me up, but that only MAKES ME STRONGER! Unvaxxed and fearless. Conservative,” followed by three Australian flag emojis.

Fortunately, Christian had a lot of supporters.

Many fans praised the Filthy Rich and Homeless star for rocking a feminine look instead of the traditional men’s favorite tuxedo on the red carpet.

“She’s so mad that you are prettier than her and she can pull off a dress she sure wouldn’t…jealously IS a disease,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I think you are a fabulous role model,” added another.

Christian had plenty of supporters, however, with fans praising him for adopting a proudly feminine look instead of the traditional men's favorite tuxedo on the red carpet.

Christian put his fashion best foot forward on Sunday when he arrived on the Logies red carpet in a sheer backless gown.

He wore his long blonde hair loose, opted for a quirky pair of clog-style heels and accessorized with a dramatic necklace that draped his back.

Christian made sure the cameras caught him from all angles as he showcased his model features, including his chiseled jawline.

He opened up about his experimental style in an interview with Body + Soul last year.

‘I remember when I worked at Channel Nine just to do marketing and some days I just walked in with pink glitter on my eyes. And they were like, ‘Why are you wearing pink sequins?’ he said.

‘I would say, ‘Because I woke up and was a little sad today, and I just felt like it was a pink glitter eye shadow day.’ I have always embarked on makeup with this philosophy.

‘If you want to wear it, if you want to do eyes and lips, who says you can only do one? Do it! Do whatever makes you feel good.
