Las Vegas Police Arrest Murder of Mirage Hotel Room


LAS VEGAS — A man accused of shooting three acquaintances in a hotel room on the Las Vegas Strip, injuring one and two, has been arrested, police said Friday.

The alleged shooter was “identified, located, & Arrested” within six hours of Thursday’s 8:30 p.m. shooting at the Mirage hotel, Capt. Dori Koren.

The shooting led to a lockdown for more than two hours as police stormed into the iconic casino and hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The suspect’s identity has not been released and it was not immediately clear when he would appear in court.

Koren did not describe a motive for the shooting, which he described as “isolated in a room” and no threat to the public.

Koren told reporters around midnight that the attacker had an address in Las Vegas and knew the man who was killed and two women who were injured.

The injured women were taken to a hospital. No details were released about their condition and they were not identified.
