Coffee with Karan Season 7: It’s safe to assume that Koffee’s return with Karan was eagerly awaited. Over the previous four years, the show’s controversies, rumors, and general antics were missed. The reintroduction of Karan Johar’s program was well received by the public.
The first guests of the seventh season of Koffee With Karan were the two actors who identify themselves as “Sakhis”, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Ranveer answered Karan’s question on which celebrities repeating clothes would be his worst nightmare, Ranveer to that, named Urfi Javed. He added that Uorfi was a fashion icon.
For the uninitiated, Karan Johar addressed the “Boycott Bollywood” trend that has prevailed on social media for two years in the opening minutes of the celebrity chat show.
Speaking to Alia Bhatt, KJo said, “Alia, you and I were just discussing that we never thought this would happen. I never thought I would come back. To that, Alia replied, “Yeah. I did not think. I thought we were done. I was quite sad. Then Ranveer asked, “Why? and Bhatt, surprised, said, “Just…Like everything that happened. You know…”
Karan Johar also explained how the Hindi film industry was vilified. “As an industry, we have been reviled. We were put in jail for two years. Even me, I went through a lot and it was not an easy time. And at that point, it was like the snake emojis came out whenever Koffee with Karan was mentioned. And at one point, I also thought that I would never come back with the show because there was a lot of attack.
For the uninitiated, after a four-year hiatus, the popular celebrity chat show is back with director Karan Johar as host. The show has been a huge hit with audiences since its debut on Star World on November 19, 2004, attracting those who are curious about the private lives of Bollywood celebrities.
