Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that Royal Challengers Bangalore wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik is one of the best finishers in the current season in the Indian Premier League and he will select him in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia if given a chance to be a selector.

Speaking on Star Sports, Singh said: “Dinesh Karthik has been exceptional for RCB. He’s very good at the side shots than his offsides and great at taking singles, but I think overall he understands his game very well. Whenever he is left with the last chances, he makes sure he finishes the game.”
“For me, if anyone has played the best role as a finisher in this whole IPL, it’s none other than Dinesh Kartik. If I was a manager, I would have given him a ticket to Australia for the World Cup. T20 world and I would have let him play for India as a wicketkeeper and batsman because he deserves it.”
“And if ever the Indian cricket team needs the best finisher, it should be Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya because they are a very powerful team. Anyway, I have gone far in the future, but still once i have to say dinesh karthik has been amazing this season and i hope he gets the chance to beat a bit sooner 15-16 overs is enough for him to finish the game” he said added.
