Dame Maggie Smith was spotted with her co-star Kathy Bates as filming for their latest film began in Ireland on Tuesday.
The Downton Abbey star, 87, donned an all-black ensemble for the emotional scenes at the cemetery in the coastal town of Bray.
Maggie wore a long wool coat with a beret and gloves as she was joined by members of the crew as they walked past the headstones.

Kathy, 75, mirrored Maggie as she also wore an all-black ensemble, but layered a padded jacket over the top of her costume to keep warm between takes.
She was joined by actor Mark O’Halloran who took on the role of the priest, wearing a purple robe with a gold cross engraved on his chest.
The film follows the story of three working-class Irish women from Dublin who make a pilgrimage to Lourdes in France where they discover their own personal miracles.

Production company Embankment Films detailed: “There is but one tantalizing dream for the women of Ballyfermot to taste freedom and escape the gauntlet of domestic life: to win a pilgrimage to the sacred French city of Lourdes, and all this for free.
And with a little benevolent interference from their local community and a sparkling-eyed priest, close friends Lily, Eileen and Dolly get their ticket to a lifetime after the church talent show.
Having never even left Dublin – let alone Ireland – the trip offers our heroines the chance to let loose, celebrate life and revel in sweet independence.

She added: ‘The only catch is that we have to learn the working class accents of Dublin around the 1970s. So it’s going to be quite difficult.
“I suspect there will be plenty of Irish actresses with their knives waiting for us to misstep.”
I watched movies like The Commitments and a few of them they sent me to get an idea. So it’s like, “Oh Lord, I really have a long way to go!” But, I’m very excited about it.
