Tipster ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco) has leaked details about the base variant of the rumored Apple Watch Series 8. According to the tipster, the wearable will have a design similar to Apple’s previous-generation smartwatch. It is said to have Midnight, Starlight, Product Red and Silver color options in aluminum. It may also get silver and graphite color options for the stainless steel version, the tipster added.

The base variant of the Apple Watch Series 8 will not be available in a titanium model, the tipster said, who also notes that their source has not been able to visually notice any new sensors on Apple’s rumored smartwatch lineup. In addition, the tipster also shared that the box of the Apple Watch Series 8 will get a new seal with stronger glue. This would prevent retailers from repackaging the smartwatch. It is said to go into mass production this month.

Apple Watch Series 8 will reportedly have the largest screen the tech giant has put on a wearable. According to the report, the Watch Series 8 could be called the Apple Watch Pro. The report also added that this could be the first major redesign for an Apple Watch since 2018. This claim is so-called refuted by tipster ShrimpApplePro.

According to a recent report, the Apple Watch Series 8 could have a body temperature sensor that can reportedly detect if a user has a fever. It is said to advise wearers to go to the doctor or use a special thermometer. The report added that the feature may not display the exact temperature like a traditional thermometer.
